Geoffrey Forrester & Co – Solicitors

Geoffrey Forrester & Co was formed in 1984 by Mr Forrester who prior to that had spent 13 years working for the Crown Prosecution Service. A further office was opened in the Nook area of South Shields some 4 years later to cope with increasing demand.

Geoffrey Forrester himself has a long history of supporting Cleveland Hall Boys Club and even coached the under 12 team for 4 consecutive seasons in the early 1990`s. Both his sons played for the club from the ages of 12 to 18 and he has even been known to referee games if called upon.

This year the Under 12 team is wearing the name of the firm proudly on their shirts and all connected with Gateshead Cleveland Hall thank Geoffrey Forrester & Co for its continued support over the past decade.

Bill Sinclair attended school in Gateshead in the early 1960`s (Elgin Road school). Upon leaving in 1963 he served an engineering apprenticeship together with another old Elgin pupil, Bob Boustead, at the Liner Concrete Ltd in the Old fold estate in Gateshead. Following his apprenticeship Bill went in to contract draughting and eventually left the Northeast 20 years ago ago to work on contract down South, then into the Middle East, Saudi Arabia,Bahrain,UAE), North Africa (Libya) and Scandinavia (Norway) in the oil and Gas industry.
